March 14 2024:- “Suffolk Estuaries” by  Paul Constantine

The historical story of the Estuaries and the arrival of different peoples, the evolution of their sailing craft and the reconstruction of the Anglo-Saxon ship in Woodbridge.                                                                                                           

April 11 2024:-  “When Birds Sing ” by Saffron Summerfield

A digitally illustrated talk with recordings of birdsong. How, why, and when birds sing and their influence on great poets and composers.                     

 

May 09 2024:-  “History of Spoken English” by Charlie Haylock

How the seeds of spoken English were set and the effects of different invading forces

   

June 13th 2024:-  “Henry Adams Cupper - a Suffolk Pioneer” by Geoff Robinson
The exploits and experiences of a Suffolk man as he travels to Oregon with his
young family
