We are a friendly and enthusiastic group of people with a keen interest in all things geological.

The group meets in members' homes around the Woodbridge and Ipswich area. It has a well established membership with some recent new recruits. Our meetings are focused on areas and aspects of geology which spark members' interest. Currently, we are following a programme which tracks the history of the earth through the different geological time periods. Members offer to research a time period which they then share the knowledge they have gained with other members of the group.

During the summer months, we have full day field visits to venues within our region and an annual 3-4 day field trip to places of interest further afield.
