All Kesgrave meetings are held at the Kesgrave War Memorial Community Centre,

Twelve Acre Approach, Bell Lane, Kesgrave, IP5 1JF (map)

The 66 & 66a bus from Ipswich & Martlesham passes the door 

Meetings are at 2pm, usually on the last Monday of the month (September - June) but there are exceptions.

Monday 27th November 2023:- “ Feel Good Singing” by Yula Andrews

The health benefits of singing in a group, by the Founder and Director of Pop Chorus.  Vocal coach and Performer 

Monday 29th January 2024:- The History of Fish and Chips Andy Malcolm

The History of Fish and Chips including the work of The Fishermen’s Mission. This talk will include a fishy quiz, poems and sea shanties. 

Monday 26th February 2024:- “ Martlesham Aviation “ by Alan Powell

Some local history about aviation at Martlesham Heath Airfield and the local museum.

Monday 25th March 2024:- “  Celebrating Suffolk Women “ by Sarah Doig
A pot pourri of stories about the county’s famous and not so well-known women. Suffragettes, suffragists, medical pioneers and writers all feature.

Monday 29th April 2024:-“ Focus on Wildlife” by Barbara Meyer.
An insight into how Barbara became a wildlife photographer. Going beyond the camera exploring how to keep it safe for both the animal and the photographer.

Monday 20th May 2024:- “ The Paranormal “ Judith Hood
“Spooky things have gone on about me all my life but it was not until 16 years ago that I understood why."
