Meetings are at 2pm, usually on the last Monday of the month (September - June) but there are exceptions.

The Musical Theatre of Gilbert and Sullivan: the historical background of Gilbert and Sullivan and the influences they had on today's musical theatre - Bernard Lockett.

Suffolk Shingle/Beach Bonkers: a hands-on talk, showing the treasures to be found, including shells of voacious carnivores, egg cases of sea snails, fossil teeth from woolly mammoths and sharks - you may never look at the beach in the same way again - Kate Osborne.

From Vicar's son to BBC Producer: from life in the vicarage and behind the scences in the Parish Church to the BBC as an assistant to Sir Jonathan Miller, making tea on "Hi-De-Hi!" to producing "Oh, Dr Beeching!" and becoming Series Editor on "Dad's Army" - Charles Garland.

My Life as a Hi-De-Hi! Yellowcoat: the Webb twins will be best remembered as the twin Yellowcoats in the long running comedy series "Hi-De-Hi!". This illustrated talk explores the early days of their career and their time at Maplin's Holiday Camp - David Webb.

A History of Printed Cartoons: a look at how published cartoons have illustrated the events and infatuations, important and trivial, of the last three centuries, with illustrations from Hogarth to Mac, and how they have returned to historic events, giving them a modern spin -Martyn Roper.

A History of Public Transport in Ipswich: a  digital presentation from the Ipswich Museum of Public Transport in Ipswich, from the horse tram (1880-1903) to electric trams (1903-1926), trolley buses (1923-1963), and the replacement diesels (1950-1964) - Dave Carson.

Journey Down the Stour: the talk includes local history, natural history, art, literature, agriculture and the weather - Martin Linford.
