Writers' Circle - various locations - 4th Thursday 2:00pm

This long standing but flourishing group meets in members' homes around Aldeburgh, Saxmundham and Woodbridge.  Stories, poems, fact and fiction and an eclectic range of themes.  We welcome new members.

New topics are chosen for each meeting and we write to that theme, reading out our efforts to the rest of the group.  It is amazing how we can get 10 completely different writing ideas from one topic heading. Subjects we have written about  include these and and many more:

Reflections in a Mirror,
A Favourite Picture or Photograph,
Under the Clock,
Reader - I Killed Him,
Nothing Prepared Her for what was Behind the Door.
A Rude Awakening,
Utensils,
The Morning After
The group is not prescriptive and the aim is to enjoy the writing we undertake and generally each piece sparks off some useful debate. Tea and cakes are a prerequisite for each meeting.

 Meeting pattern: 4th Thursday 2:00pm
