New Members with some previous experience very welcome.
We have been using the following books and will continue to use these plus other music, which will be sent via email as attachments for your own printing.
Players need to buy a copy of "50 Graded Studies for recorder (descant)" by Sally Adams and Paul Harris, and published by Faber Music as a reference book if playing the Descant and/or Tenor recorder, and "Treble Recorder Studies Book 1" by Doris da Costa and Sally Adams published by Cramer if playing the Treble recorder, as these are fundemental to establishing good playing technique. The books are available online through Amazon, Ebay or other online retailers
The group will all learn together to build up an enjoyable repertoire from a variety of genre. Tricky rhythms, fingering and musical terms will be mastered on the way. All members will be encouraged to express their musical preferences and play in different part combinations.
